If you like the Espresso Martini, you will likely love this. It has far more depth, flavor and complexity due to the aged rum. We first had this at a place called Maracaibo in Union City NJ. The measurements are my own and suited to my taste, but there is no question this is better than an espressotini.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ounces Appleton Aged rum
- 1 ounce fresh brewed espresso coffee (chilled)
- 1/2 ounce such as Kahlua (if you use something else, add 1/4 ounce of simple syrup)
- METHOD: Shake all ingredients with plenty of ice, double strain into a stemmed cocktail glass.
