Mint Julep
Almost synonymous with the Kentucky Derby is the Mint Julep. While it was originally made with brandy as the base spirit, it has now become bourbon.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ounces bourbon
- fresh sprigs mint
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- GARNISH: Fresh mint
