Stinger
Stinger

Created in San Francisco sometime in the early 1900s, this iconic cocktail found its way into Film Noir such as The Big Bluff and movies which included Humphrey Bogar, Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, and others. It was typically a High Society drink, especially if served with cognac instead of brandy.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ounces (60ml) Brandy (Cognac is better)
- 1 ounce Creme de Menthe (some say white, but brandy is brown anyway, so it really does not make a difference)
METHOD
Stir with plenty of ice and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe
