Happy Hour #266 – Sinatra
Happy Hour With Sinatra

It would be a matter of serious debate to say Sinatra is not one of the greatest entertainers of all time. And it is fair. He won an Oscar for Movies, numerous Grammys for music, was on Broadway, television and his career spanned over 6 decades from the 1930s all the way through the 1990s. He was also a man of great personality, conflict and mood swings for sure. He relaxed with a glass of Jack Daniels on the rocks, his pack of filterless Came cigarettes, and insisted Coca-Cola and Tootsie Rolls were in his dressing room at all times. The love of his life was unquestionably Ava Garnder, while he could not hold on to her as a wife (she was too much like him and just as fierce), they did remain friends until the last years of their lives.
