Pisco Punch
Pisco Punch

This drink is a variation of the Pisco Sour, the only difference is that it is served in an anisette rinsed glass, according to the COCKTAILS App it was created around 1935.
Pisco is a brandy from Peru or Chile. The debate of who created it is as intense as asking if Poland or Russia created vodka first. Either way, a classic drink is the Pisco Sour. If you skip the egg white in this, you are not going to get the thick foam on top to hold the weight of the Angostura bitter float that acts as a garnish.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 ounces pisco
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice (some use lime but it is better with lemon)
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water)

- 1/2 anisette rinsed glass
