PDT (Please Don’t Tell) in Manhattan’s Village was certainly not the best kept secret as far as speakeasy bars go.  It was however, very cool, very unique and a frequent haunt of many cocktail aficionados and the likes of Anthony Bourdain. You actually had to enter through and old fashioned phone booth and make a call for them to let you in. Once inside you were in another room with taxidermy animals, a few tables and of course the bar.

The drinks were mostly prohibition classics along with newer versions of a bacon fat washed old fashioned. The only food there were the hot dogs you can get from the Crif Dogs you have to pass through one level down from the sidewalk.
