While the staff will tell you “We are not a tiki bar”, I am not sure. Maybe it has a negative connotation to some, maybe they think it’s cultural appropriation, but it is more tiki than places that claim to be tiki. What I found interesting was all the televisions were playing the same episodes of Baywatch on a loop. Honestly I had never seen an episode, but I saw at least 3 during our two hour visit. I knew what the show was about, but never knew what the attraction was other than beautiful people on the beach – nothing wrong with that, but it was just a drama that I never got into. The drinks were ok, better than some, but not memorable. What I did love was the decor.
