Room Upstairs

Room Upstairs

The Room Upstairs has a really cool story. It was actually a speakeasy once disguised as The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Company during Prohibition.  While the downstairs looked like a financial office, it was in fact a real operating speakeasy.  Later it became the Franklin Bar, they did away with the tiki element to open a mezcal bar in its place.  It’s a shame because they really captured the feel and vibe of an old school tiki bar and took the theme very seriously.  They still have some great craft mixology and cocktail programs, I’d love to get back here for sure.
